How will MKR tokens work in the migration to Ethereum2.0
I may be misunderstanding how the new Ethereum2.0 POS chain will work, but I believe the current POW and future POS chains are distinct and separate (with some possibility of the current POW chain being a shard, but that is not confirmed). For example people will need to convert their ETH to newETH to move them to the POS Beacon chain (with old ETH being burned in the process). MakerDAO exists on the POW chain and is governed by existing MKR tokens. When the new chain launches and smart contracts are available on the new POS chain will MakerDAO need to 're-launch' on that chain governed by a newMKR token? Will 2 versions of MakerDAO be operating at the same time, one on the old dying POW chain (that accepts ETH) and one on the new POS chain (that accepts newETH) or could the current instance of MakerDAO accept both newETH and current ETH as collateral? If there will be two instances of MakerDAO, will newMKR tokens be issued to current MKR holders pro-rata for the POS chain? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!

What happens to ethereum1 ether on the ethereum2 chain?
I'm sure this has been asked a billion times but I did some google searching and wasn't seeing the answers I was looking for. So basically are my ether still valid on the Ethereum2 chain or not?
Buterin hopes the Ethereum community to not be Bitcoin-like maximalists when in comes to Smart Contract blockchains like Polkadot and others on Ethereum2.0 AMA.
Still fighting the good fight! Remember to visit the /ethereum subreddit every once in a while for some good giggles. https://www.reddit.com/ethereum/comments/gv6zom/the_state_of_eth2_june_2020_danny_ryan/fsoa0k4 Here I am doing my best to help them understand the currently hot-debated 2nd layer scaling solutions of Ethereum2. Isn't it funny how even their new, yet-to-be, Eth2 blockchain is already struggling with 2nd layer scaling solutions? EOS is already achieving what they are trying to do with Ethereum2 on paper and it is doing so without any 2nd layer nightmares.
