Updated my Windows 10... It set Skype to open on startup AND opened the "New Edge" browser (and wouldn't let me close it before I looked at a presentation of the new features... I had to use Task Manager)

I like Joe he's a nice dude and most of his instincts are pretty left wing, but by his own admission he's not politically savvy enough to swat down an uninformed bad political take (and he rarely pushes back) so it's super frustrating to people like us when an uninformed guest spews bullcrap unchallenged. With the platform and influence he has it's so important too. It annoys the living shit out of me too that despite having Jimmy Dore and Kyle on a few times, he still doesn't understand the difference between Corporate Democrats and the left. He's always pulling the "Cities run by Democrats" line right wingers use and thinks shitlib mayors like Wheeler and Garcetti (who don't want to defund the police) are "the left" and I'm like screaming at my laptop like a grandpa lol. All I want is someone to explain to him bourgeois Hollywood liberals are only left wing on social issues but not economic and foreign policy issues. Whenever he talks about Biden it's only the cognitive decline, never on policy like the crime bill and social security and being conservative level rude to sunrise activists, etc. Right after the protests he has squeaky fast talking moron who probably wears a male chastity belt Ben Shapiro on, but no Kyle or Jimmy or Krystal when it's so desperately needed? I know he and Kyle like/respect each other and are legit friends to an extent, so I know Joe would respect his views, and we need Kyle's succinct voice of reason to reach people now more than ever.
AITA for not wanting to talk to my brother on Skype (or otherwise) with my parents there?
Sorry about a lousy title but I don't know how to put this concisely so I'll try to explain now: I've (21m) been arguing with my parents since last week and it's about my younger brother (13). He told them he has a boyfriend, his best friend's cousin/neighbor. I know this kid and he's my brother's age, 13 or 14. My parents basically told my brother he can't be in a relationship because he's too young but really, they're freaking out because I'm gay (been out to them for about 4 years) and now my younger brother has a boyfriend. They told me so over too many hysterical calls and texts about this thing. I'm angry that my parents pretend like they're okay with my sexuality but then they refuse to talk about my relationships and LGBT friends, they say things like "people are allowed not to believe in homosexuality" and similar BS and now they pull this shit. They didn't even try and talk to my brother to figure out what he even means by dating at 13, which I pointed out to them, but they're all about "nipping this thing in the bud" because they can't have two gay sons. My mom literally said that this is something that would make her go back to alcohol. My parents are trying to make me come on Skype for a family intervention if you will, so I could explain to my brother that just because I'm gay it doesn't mean he has to follow in my footsteps. They want me to discourage my brother from believing he likes other boys, they believe he's influenced by my sexuality because I'm his older brother and he's young and impressionable. Obviously I don't want to say those things to my brother but here's where I'm actually conflicted: because I told my parents I won't talk to my brother while they're there, they have started threatening to forbid him from speaking to me at all, they want to be involved in any texts or calls because again, "I might encourage him to think he's gay". I want to do the right thing and actually have an honest conversation with my brother (and well, freaking congratulate him for landing a boyfriend) but I'm afraid if I refuse to talk to my brother on my parents' terms, I will inadvertently make things worse for him and won't be able to contact him at all. So am I the AH for not wanting my parents involved in calls and texts with my brother? Maybe they're bluffing about cutting off contact but if they're not, I couldn't forgive myself for making things worse by refusing compromise. I don't even know if there's a non-asshole way to navigate this.
Help! MCC PC automatically tries to log me into my old account that got banned for making prank calls on skype. The psychology of looking a person in the eye when speaking to them still applies when meeting remotely, even though it is cognitively understood that you are looking at the screen to see their faces instead of the camera. Your audience will subconsciously be more engaged and have more trust in your intentions and qualifications for the role you are seeking or speaking from if it feels as though you are looking them directly in the eye.

Hello everyone! Me (F, 25) and my boyfriend (25) have been a couple for around 4 years now. We met in an online game that we are still playing together. For some time now we basically Skype all day every day. Our conversations are around 16h every day, the other 8h being the time we sleep. Since we both spend a lot of time in front of the computedesk (gaming, studying, watching videos) we have that possibility. Lately I have reached out to some old online friends of mine and we decided to play together a bit. That also included using Discord to talk. I told my boyfriend that for the time that I would play and chat with them I would rather like to close the Skype call since I would feel a bit awkward and watched since he would just hear me but not really the other side of the conversation. I was already kinda nervous about telling him about this because I knew he wouldn't really like it. He ended up getting very upset and angry and said that he feels excluded and that I don't really care about how he feels. After around an hour I called him back but for the rest of the evening he was very bitter. Am I overreacting for thinking that his behaviour is not really fair? For some time now I am thinking that I'm not really sure anymore in case I like it that we basically Skype all the time since sometimes I feel like I don't have a lot of privacy because of that. He says he feels lonely in case I close Skype so he even asks me to leave it open when I go and watch TV.

Leaving Mormonism helped me realize I was never crazy about the idea of having kids.
